Artist-in-Residence
From May 7th to the 16th I am staying at the Cassiar Cannery as their resident artist.
Located at the mouth of the Skeena River, and no longer packing Salmon, Cassiar was once the longest consecutively operating cannery on the West Coast.
Since the summer of 2006 it has been undergoing restoration and now supports diverse activities, from tourism and weekend retreats, to shipwright services, custom woodworking, and Science and Research.
This is the 3rd year of the Artist-in-Residence program, co-funded by Cassiar Cannery and the Prince Rupert Community Arts Council.

SAME OLD SAME OLD
(May 2021)
While waiting patiently (am I, though?) for travel restrictions to end and restaurants to open and art galleries to host opening receptions, I am updating my web site.
In addition to some glitchy areas and missing information, I have also finally posted new paintings from 2021!
